2014_Carajás Viewpoint

Carajás, Pará, Brazil

This project consists of a series of viewpoints for the observation of iron mines arround Brazil. For the N4E pit, in Carajás, at Pará state, we designed a special viewpoint. For other mines, with various dimensions, we created replicable arrangements of 20 feet and 40 feet containers, that can be organized in different ways. Each viewpoint has a small exhibition space, a lookout room with air conditioning, balcony and rooftop. Additionally, there were adopted technological and interactive resources that inform visitors about the local mining activities.
